Confusion
I was appalled and somewhat bemused at the comments in your leading story: 'Firm Loses Licence.'
The vehicles concerned are public service vehicles, and as such should be maintained in prime condition. I fail to see the logic in delaying the revocation.
This was the second inquiry in 12 months, and Mr Dixon's comments were somewhat contradictory.
In the last two paragraphs he said: "There was no serious threat to road safety," and "but in the interest of road safety, she should have taken a stand earlier."
With statements like this I cannot work out whether he is condoning or condemning.
I believe the licence should be revoked immediately, or is Mr Dixon also in a position to play 'God' with peoples lives.
