FOUR more soccer fun days are being planned by the Vale of Glamorgan Council's sports development unit during February's half term school holidays.
To be run at Council leisure centres at a cost of £11, the fun days are aimed at boys and girls aged seven to 13 who can participate in an enjoyable range of mini tournaments and skills competitions.
Children take home a football, certificate and McDonald's drinks voucher.
There are special discounts for families booking more than one child on a course during the same week,. Cllr Michael Harvey, Cabinet Member (Economic Development and Leisure), said: "The fun days provide a great football experience for children during the school holidays. All funds raised are directed back into the development of local football."
The soccer fun days (10am-3pm) are as follows: Tuesday, February 19, Llantwit Major; February 20, Barry; February 21, Penarth, and February 22, Cowbridge.
Further information is available from Vale football development officer Ryland Morgans on 01446 704729.
