New kit brings confidence

BARRY EAGLES Under-10As started the new year with a spectacular win against Sully Under-10Ds. It was an excellent display of their new-found confidence and team spirit.

Steve had a fine game on the wing, and yet again Curtis and Scott were invaluable along with Liam in defence, and Matthew Perry wide.

Sully are a relatively new team but were no easy target. Eagles managed their biggest win to date with Christopher Worthing scoring his first hat-trick.

There were goals galore from other team members including Matthew Fairweather and Liam.

Matthew Clements scored his first goal for the side with an impressive long range shot, and was declared man of the match, deservedly so as he has been an asset since he joined the team at the start of the season. Christopher received the medal for his hat-trick - well done!

These awards could have gone to any of the boys as they all played enthusiastically and consistently well.
