AN EMPLOYEE of a Barry deli is to get his back waxed for charity after more than 200 customers said he should.
Leroy Keeble, who works at Food For Thought deli, in Barry’s High Street Shopping Quarter, is to undergo the painful procedure in aid of Sully children’s hospice Ty Hafan.
The event will be held at The Beauty Studio, also on High Street, on Wednesday, May 24.
The 22-year-old former Barry Comprehensive School and High Street primary pupil, of Dawan Close, said: “We were debating in work that I would get my back waxed if 50 people said I should. More than 200 people said.
“I’ve been saying it for a while that I should get my back waxed for charity, so I am.
“I think it’s going to be painful.”
He added: “I have chosen to donate all the money that is raised to Ty Hafan as they have helped families that I know. Emma (Nicolaou) from The Beauty Studio at Number 20 in High Street will be doing the job of waxing my whole back.”
To donate to Mr Keeble sign a sponsorship form at The Food For Thought deli in Barry High Street.
