PLANNING application has been submitted to convert the former Admiral pub in Cadoxton into a convenience store.
The plans propose converting the vacant building on Vere Street into a Nisa local store, an independently owned retail outlet.
Permission to trade from within the building already exists but the applicant has requested permission to install a new shop front and to make external alterations.
The plans propose use of the rear of the building for a car park totalling 15 spaces.
The application, which is still in the very early stages, states that the proposed shopfront design is in keeping with the character of the original building and the existing front wooded doors will be retained.
