THE Wendy Summerell School of Dance presented a wonderful show at the Barry Memorial Hall in December 2013.
In aid of the Marie Curie Hospice and Ty Hafan, the show raised a fantastic sum of £6,000.
Wendy would like to thank everyone who attended for their support and also the parents who supplied the beautiful costumes and all the backstage helpers, as these shows would not be possible without them.
Ross Martinson an ex-student of Wendy's flew from Germany, where he is a professional dancer with the MAINZ Ballet company, to give a special one off performance just for the show. This was his first performance back in Barry since he left Wendy's dance school to train at The Royal Ballet School at age 11.
Wendy who has been made a Life Member at the Royal Academy, has a long established school in Barry, with many ex-pupils now in professional dancing and teaching positions, and continues to teach children from age three upwards, and adult classes.
