THE former lifeguard building on Barry Island promenade and the former Tourist Information Centre are being put up for rent.
Tenders are invited until Friday, June 6 on the two council buildings.
The former lifeguard building on Barry Island Promenade and the ground floor of the former Tourist Information Centre will be offered on a lease basis, with viewings set to take place within the next few weeks.
The lifeguard building has two rooms and a large kitchen area, boasts fantastic views across Whitmore Bay, and is sure to attract plenty of attention.
Both are available on a 10 year lease and both buildings occupy prime positions at the heart of the Island.
Rob Thomas, Director of Development Services said: "The Council has invested heavily in the Barry Island area over the last few years, and with the multi-million pound regeneration project drawing to a conclusion, the time is right to seek expressions of interest for these premises, the aim being to further enhance the services and facilities on offer to visitors to the Island."
