A BUS company serving Barry and Penarth is urging residents to swap cars for buses as part of this year’s Catch the Bus Week.
Catch the Bus Week is a week-long national celebration, running from April, 28 to May, 4.
Cardiff Bus will be helping to promote the benefits of bus travel alongside hundreds of other participants all over the country, including Greener Journeys, passenger organisations, local authorities and councils.
The bus operator will be visiting two year four classes in Victoria Primary School in Penarth to discuss the importance of sustainable travel to the environment and travellers’ wellbeing and answer any of the pupils’ questions.
Cardiff Bus will be encouraging passengers to take bus selfies using the Twiiter hashtag #catchthebusweek
