A fundraising quiz will take place today to celebrate Earth Day in Barry.
Following a successful litter-picking session over Easter weekend, Friends of Barry Beaches, in collaboration with Barry Action for Nature, organised this event.
It will be held at The Park Gate Hotel, on Monday, April 22. Tickets are priced at £5 per person with a maximum of five people permitted per group.
Doors will open at 6.30pm, with the quiz to commence half an hour later.
The organisers aim to raise critical funds for Barry's nature groups through this entertaining and meaningful event.
Recently, Friends of Barry Beaches highlighted the problem of fly-tipping at Bendricks Beach to the Vale of Glamorgan council.
